Radio Platfform

@ FoV

Radio Platfform first exploded onto the online airwaves as part of Wales Millennium Centre’s Inaugural Festival of Voice. A unique pop-up radio station, Radio Platfform is positioned in the Centre's front of house area and is delivered by young people from partners Grassroots and Valleys Kids. Working in collaboration with Radio Cardiff, this innovative digital project enables participants to develop their broadcasting skills through creation of radio content as well as an opportunity to express themselves and represent their communities via several online platforms.

The programme is delivered through a free 6 weeks accredited training programme where participants come to grips with working the decks, develop interview techniques, as well as how to curate, schedule and deliver a broadcast. Following the training they join established cohorts of young people which supports further development of the online programme
